“Nothing happens on the screen…nothing happens on the canvas…” (Germano Celant) - China Red seems to be the summa and the closing of a circle. It is the second work in collaboration with Flavio Favelli. The first, in 2001, was the Barrow fashion shop in Bologna. A four hands project, with a double soul: an oscillation among doing nothing, letting things as they are. In the space of uncertainty that comes during every passage, the matter is a derivative, according to a principle of exchange and continuous throwing back: Ping Pong.
